The question is often asked, "What is an arts-integrated education?" Simply put, arts-integration education, in a visual/performing arts magnet school, is evident when there is an intentional focus on the arts and integration across the curriculum. It means we don't teach content in isolation like you see in a traditional school setting. Arts-based or arts-infused instruction means teaching content through the arts. When we are young we are taught the song Twinkle, Twinkle. Through repetition we learn the words and the melody. As we get older, we learned our A,B,Cs. We kept the traditional melody of Twinkle, Twinkle and added new content.
