​Atonement Lutheran Church is a protestant church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).  Atonement, along with other ELCA congregations, are rooted in social justice and diversity.

​Atonement is a very arts-centered congregation and has one of the top pipe organs in the Kansas City metro. The church is a missional church and supports many local organizations:

The sanctuary was built in 1999 and has outstanding acoustics.  Many local groups use Atonement's space for recitals and performances throughout the year.

Local HS Choirs (Shawnee Mission South, Shawnee Mission West)

Metropolitan School of the Arts is pleased to have a partnership with Atonement where we can use their space during the week and the possibility of our students providing arts-based performances to the congregation.
