Based on the belief that creative artistry is fueled by intellectual insight, Metropolitan School of the Arts Kansas City (MSAKC) provides a rigorous college-preparatory academic program tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. We believe that this tailored educational plan produces successful, achieving and motivated scholars. This academic program will be accredited by Cognia (formally AdvancEd) and Independent Schools of the Central States.
MSAKC is also considering the addition of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This program comes with an additional institutional review process.
These accrediting agencies measure school success (educational, governance, financial) and are "stamps of approval" where earned credits and diplomas are recognized by other educational institutions (public/private K-12 districts, colleges, and universities)
